Sabato 21 febbraio 2026, la seconda edizione di Essence sarà affidata al maestro Desyn, dall’apertura fino alla chiusura.
Appartiene a quella schiera di DJ che negli anni ’90 cresceva tra rave nelle campagne londinesi, sound system e bancarelle di dischi di seconda mano, in un’Inghilterra dove acid house, jungle e UK garage ridefinivano il suono delle sottoculture giovanili.
John Digweed lo ha soprannominato “the man that never sleeps” per la sua etica ossessiva nella ricerca e nella preparazione dei set: editing, tracce e diggin costante, che gli permettono di attraversare i confini dell’immaginario di qualsiasi dancefloor.
Per Desyn l’underground non è uno stile, ma uno stato d’animo. A noi basta questo per accoglierlo nella nostra famiglia, certi che sarà una performance difficile da dimenticare.
Per chi vorrà continuare a ballare, anche questa volta la crew ha messo in piedi un after di tutto rispetto, con Outransa (Nicky Macha / Kensa) e
Sohrab, tra i nomi più interessanti della scena europea, insieme al nostro resident Atomo e, per la prima volta dietro la nostra consolle, Ilgattoelavolpe, del collettivo dei nostri carissimi amici Discotti.

We did long parties. Very long. Hours and hours, DJ after DJ. We pushed the format to its limits, until we realized, at a certain point, that the dancefloor wasn’t really listening anymore.
Too much “stuff.” Too many distractions.
We decided to change everything.
ESSENCE is a solo DJ. 6/7/8-hour sets (at the artist’s discretion). That’s it.
A true journey, built on sweat and real connection with the dancefloor. Where obsessive attention to sound quality is the foundation, to deliver an experience at the highest level.
The DJ doesn’t entertain—he guides.
The crowd doesn’t consume—they listen.
No overdose of flashy lineups. No slots. Just space and time to tell a story, from the first to the last track.
No compromises.
This is our vision.
Against the current. But necessary—at least for us.

We, sons and daughters of a generation used to thinking in terms of individual growth, were hesitant to imagine alternative paths. Yet, ever since we took our first steps with Vesuvius Soul Records, we have always tried to lend our support so that the coexistence of similar projects within the same circuit would no longer be unthinkable.
Finally, over the years, a new generation of DJs, producers, promoters, and clubbers has emerged, united by a single purpose: to have fun and create a new, unique global scene.
Everyone who has passed through our space and attended our parties has contributed—morally, culturally, and materially—to achieving this goal. Some have launched new projects in Naples and across other cities in Campania, becoming an integral and vital part of this new movement.
We call it “club culture 2.0.”
Our love goes out to all of you, especially to those friends and collectives from our region who share our vision of a scene where selfless sharing and inclusivity are no longer utopias, but real, concrete projects.
